Challenge
Accounts, networks, and clusters were assembled as one-off resources. Every new environment became a ticket. Shared engineering work slowed down because the platform did not exist as a product.
Decision
Treat identity, networking, and Kubernetes as one shared baseline rather than letting each team assemble an environment. Internal platform patterns were folded in so deploy and operate were the same across teams.
Approach
The engineering work designed the baseline as Infrastructure as Code: identity, networking, and Kubernetes that application, data, and AI teams could consume. Internal-platform patterns were included so teams did not each own the stack underneath.
Technical Delivery
Designed and automated cloud infrastructure across identity, networking, Kubernetes, and shared platform services. After the work, application teams consumed a platform instead of filing for every network or identity change.
Outcome
Application teams provisioned from shared, repeatable foundations rather than filing requests; identity, networking, and Kubernetes became a baseline reused across environments.
